Project Interiors Supports Steps 2 Safety Challenge for Manchester Women’s Aid
As part of Project Group’s ongoing support for The Pankhurst Trust (incorporating Manchester Women’s Aid), Courtney Grimshaw from Project Interiors recently took part in the charity’s inaugural Steps 2 Safety 15km walk, helping to raise vital funds for women and families affected by domestic abuse.
The challenge took place on Friday 6 March, with participants setting off from Castlefield Bowl in Manchester and making their way to Altrincham. Despite the wet weather, Courtney and fellow fundraisers completed the route, demonstrating the determination and community spirit behind the event.
The Steps 2 Safety walk raised an incredible £8,047, which could fund more than six months of accommodation for a woman or family needing to flee domestic abuse. The fundraising provides a valuable contribution towards the vital support and safe spaces Manchester Women’s Aid provides to those experiencing domestic abuse across the region.
Project Interiors has developed a strong relationship with The Pankhurst Trust, helping to raise awareness of its work and supporting the charity through the renovation of its safe spaces. We’re proud to continue that relationship as a Project Group charity partner in 2026 and to support initiatives such as Steps 2 Safety that make a tangible difference to people in our local community.
