Project Group Completes 2025 Carbon Report

Project Group are proud to have completed our 2025 Carbon Report, providing an overview of our carbon footprint and the progress we’ve made over the past year. This is the most comprehensive report to date and marks a significant improvement in the quality and completeness of our data.

The report highlights our key findings, progress against our carbon reduction plan, and some of the practical actions we’re taking across the Group. This includes maintaining our Positive Planet Bronze Certification and continuing to work with our suppliers to improve the quality of Scope 3 emissions data.

2025 Project Group highlights included:

• A significant improvement in data quality, particularly across Scope 3, with 51% of data now classified as high quality.

• Continued growth of the business, while emissions per £m revenue have fallen by 6.5%.

• Key area of focus continuing to be around Scope 3 emissions, with around 94% of our footprint coming from Goods & Services, primarily furniture, materials, and manufacturing.

• Improved supplier engagement data quality allowing £1.86m of spend-based estimates to be replaced with 315 tCO₂e of measured emissions.

• Improved employee commuting data, with survey participation increasing by 19% from 2024

2025 saw a step-change in understanding our footprint, moving us from reliance on spend-based data and estimates, towards better-quality, activity-based data. For our clients and partners, this means better environmental data, more informed decision-making, and a continued focus on practical, measurable improvements.
